A couple from Matt and Jeff's civil partnership ceremony today in beautiful Richmond park– an emotionally charged day. More on the way!
Just a sneak preview of a glamorous Great Gatsby style wedding in the Park Lane hotel in London - beautiful stylish couple and equally stylish guests!
Just a sneak preview of yesterday's fanastic honeymoon photo shoot in Santorini with Evan and Pamela - thanks so much guys, you were amazing!
Rome is a special place for a photographer. This city has this amazing light that you can find on Caravaggio paintings - warm, golden, intense. The old buildings, the cobblestone pavements, small cafes with amazing coffee, the smell of linden blossom, and of course the beautiful couple, Natalia and Giuseppe - everything was so inspiring on a Sunday morning when we went for a walk in the centre, starting at piazza Navona and making our way to via Margutta and piazza del Popolo.
Giu, as a native Roman, was a great tour guide and knew an astonishing amount of information about literally every building we passed on our way. Natalia was absolutely charming and managed to endure a 2 hours walk in 4 inch heels without a single complaint!
All the three of us really enjoyed this time together and I think the pictures speak for themself.:) I love these photos of Natalia and Giuseppe, so natural and warm - I think their love for each other and their tenderness are almost tangible in these pictures.
And the best part of the day was of course going to the best pizza place in the world (in fact, this is not a metaphor - the chef actually won the world pizza competition!) and then having some gelato as a dessert. I am still on diet since I'm back to London. :)
Bunny and Sam are a lovely couple both originally from India but have been living and working in London for a while. They are getting married next May so they decided to have an engagement photo shoot in London to celebrate their new status and to get some beautiful photos for their Save the date cards.
We started in the City (which gets really quiet on weekends so ideal for photoshoots), and then moved to South Bank to take a few pictures by the birch grove near Tate Modern.
"Just wanted to say a massive thank you to Alina for helping make our engagement shoot so amazing.
Me and my fiancé both live in London, so we wanted some London themed engagement photos with some beautiful London locations in the background. Alina had lots of ideas and took her time in capturing the perfect shot and we are very happy with how our pictures turned out! She is very talented and creative with her style.
She took some great shots which are very natural and extremely stunning at the same time. The service from start to finish was real quality, would thoroughly recommend!!"

Thanks guys - I really enjoyed your company! You are two of the most easy-going people I’ve ever worked with and clearly meant for each other! Have an amazing wedding in India! x
Emma and Lee were together for 11 years but the haven't really planned this wedding in advance - the thought of making their union official came suddenly just a few months before the big day! They were booking some holidays when the travel agent asked them if this is going to be their honeymoon - and they thought that it might as well be one! :)
After the initial excitement they realised that they need to arrange everything a very short notice, and the grim reality of London wedding industry is that the best venues and suppliers get fully booked really quickly.
However they were lucky and it all started coming together very soon - elegant and simple dress from Sanyukta Shrestha, dainty accessories from Ana Maria Bufnila - and the stunning flowers from Anna Collins completed the beautiful vision.
Emma and the girls got ready at the Town Hall hotel, from where we headed to Islington Town Hall for the ceremony. Emma and Lee decided to keep the ceremony intimate with just family - and it felt really cozy, personal, and special! One of the most memorable moments was when Emma's granfather's wife, who couldn't come to the ceremony, just connected by Skype! It is truly extraordinary how technology can change people's lives these days and how close we can all be despite the challenges of geography!
After the ceremony we took some pictures in the nearby park as it was getting darker very quickly, and then joined the guests at the exquisite dinner reception by the candlelight at the Chamber room of the Town Hall Hotel.
It was very important for Emma and Lee to share their joy with all their friends, so the following Saturday they threw a big party at their new apartment, where I also popped by to take a few photographs.
It was truly a memorable day (or rather two days!) - a big thank you Emma and Lee for inviting me warmly into your circle of love and care! It was an honor and I look forward to what the future has in store for you both. Much Love x
Another wonderful couple from Saint-Petersburg - Angie and Sema. We went for a walk on the outskirts of the sea port and enjoyed a beautiful sunset on the secluded beach. I used this occasion to test my new Canon 45 mm Tilt-Shift lens and I absolutely loved it - didn't need to use anything else but this one for the whole shoot! Angie and Sema were so natural and relaxed and we spent a lovely evening together.
Hope you like this sneak peek of their engagement shoot.
Anna and Senya were married last year and wanted to celebrate their anniversary in beautiful Saint Petersburg, their new home. They are such a creative couple with a real sense of beauty: Anna studies theatre management and Senya is a composer. It was a pleasure to go for a walk alongside the majestic canals and beautiful palaces, visit the stunning Lutheran church of Saint Peter and Paul and finally warm ourselves with a coffee and a traditional russian doughnut called "pyshka" in a small place that sells them since my childhood. If you ever come to Saint Petersburg, you have to try them!
Natasha has an unusual story: she studied in Moscow, Paris and New York, and now she has the most extraordinary (for a girl!) job in football management based in London.
We did a photoshoot in Lexington pub in Angel. The interior was stunning: vintage furniture, crazy patterned wallapers and lots of taxidermy, and Natasha was absolutely gorgeous - dramatic, bold and sensous!
Make up by talented Paula Delgado.
This was the most extraordinary love story I've ever shot - together with a beautiful couple, Nastya and Max, we headed off to the ice-covered Gulf of Finland to join the most intrepid ice-fishers, then got lost in the magical pine forest and went for a romantic walk on the beach. I could never thought that I would dare to shoot outside in February - but there you are, some absolutely amazing shots from last Sunday!
